Servers
Please note our entire server bundles are focused on resiliency and are shipped as standard with:
- Hot pluggable, hardware mirrored (RAID-1) system disks and RAID 5 data disks where applicable.
- For all models but the DL140G3, hot plug redundant power supplies are installed by default.
- Where supported, servers are configured with fully redundant hot pluggable fans.
From our experience, the most likely cause of hardware failure in a server is a moving part. It is for this reason that disks, fans and power supplies are fully redundant.
We have options for increased availability, in models that support it, for hot spare hard disks and RAIDed hot swap memory modules for businesses that require maximum protection against hardware failure. Beyond that we have a range of clustering options that can be bolted on to most DL380 and DL580 based solutions.
